This course is structured for electrical & electronics engineers on design aspects of CNC Machine tools. Introduction to Fundamentals of electrical Design, Introduction to cnc machines, electrical switch gear elements, electrical wiring, Design concepts, PLC, circuit diagram, selection of electrical elements, capacity sizing and more focused on machine tool electrical design. A complete design of CNC machine will be carried out. Electrical circuit design, control panel design, introduction to PLC programing & ladder diagram, selection of electrical switch gears will be prominently discussed during the course. Selection of controller, motors and drives, machine data entry for machine customization, and hands-on experience during the course with design exercise.

  • Fresh Graduate Engineers & Diploma engineers in electrical and electronics stream.
  • Fresh Hires from industry with < 2 year experience.
This programme will be conducted by Mr. H V Rajashekara, Director - Design institute, IMTMA, he has over 27 year experience on Machine Tool design and development from HMT Machine Tools, Bangalore. He is supported by Mrs. Uma industry consultant and Mr. Anil Purohith from M/s Leonardo Automation who both have over 25 year experience in Machine tool electronics and PLC Design.Industrial experts from Siemens-TAC, Fanuc and Mitsubishi India will be addressing on controllers and PLC to enhance the knowledge on Design & Selection criteria for better effectiveness of the program.

REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited to 20 and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.

An advance payment of 5000/- has to be made to register for the program, remaining amount to be paid within 3 days of the course commencement.

An evaluation at regular interval and Certificate of participation will be issued to participants upon successful participation of the course.

Important Information :
Participation fee includes, course material, working lunch and tea / coffee & Industrial visits. Interested companies are requested to register online by clicking on 'REGISTER' button and by filling up the nomination authority and participant's details in specified form.

FEE : The stipulated fee can be paid online by clicking on 'Register and Pay online" button and using the secured HDFC payment gateway. Upon successful registration and payment, a separate registration and payment confirmation will be sent to the nominating authority mail id confirming the registration and OR payment details.

Cheque/DD : Alternatively, a Demand Draft / RTGS / NEFT / Cash payment / at par cheque in favour of ‘Indian Machine Tool manufacturers’ Association’ payable at Bangalore can be sent to the programme coordinator at the address mentioned in the programme brochure.
