Creativity, Innovation & Design - IMTMA/D019
Every development in human history has come about because there was an inventive or innovative person behind it. Thomas Edison had numerous patents to his credit, and is most well-known for his invention of the incandescent bulb. Leonardo da Vinci had made drawings and sketches of designs for everything from weaponry to flying machines and helicopters. In modern times, the automobile, aircraft, transistor, radio, TV are the result of a series of inventive persons who developed the first idea, demonstrated the first working device and then the technologies were developed by a large number of innovative persons to perfect the device, give it greater functions, make it in large numbers, engineer high reliability and lower the cost until it resulted in the perfect product that goes to the customer. The world celebrates creativity, innovation and design by using these products: good products are cheered, good designs are rewarded; equally, bad or poor products are rejected, their designers often face the brunt of criticism!
