Fundamentals of Painting and Coating Technologies

Date : 25 to 26 April, 2019

@ Plot No. 249 F, Phase IV, Udyog Vihar, Sector 18, Gurgaon

The purpose of painting / coating a given surface is two-fold. First it protects from corrosion and second it serves as
decor, adding visual appeal of the product. Any painting / coating process involves substrate surface preparation,
application of the coating and drying of the coating. Thorough knowledge about the components of paint and powder
formulations, their application methods including drying and curing is essential to achieve the optimum productivity and
quality levels. Lack of knowledge in painting / powder coating leads to high rework and rejection rates.

Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising a 2 day programme on
Fundamentals of Painting and Coating Technologies on 25 - 26 April 2019 at Gurgaon.
