Introduction

The Auto, Agricultural and construction industry is going for continuous change and this change is the result of customer demands as well as new environmental norms. Forgings contribute a major share in vehicles in terms of weight, strength and value. Forging industry is aligning itself with various technological solutions for the evolving demands from the automotive sector. India is a major force in Forging manufacturing and shall play a crucial part in meeting the new demands of global customers.Effective Forging die design plays an important role in improving productivity of a forging shop.

In view of vital importance, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing a two day programme on Forging Die Design - A Practical approach (Hot Forging) on 18 - 19 July 2019 at Coimbatore.

Faculty

This programme will be conducted by Mr Arun W. Yallatikar ( B.E. Mech.) having 39 Years of experience in the hot forging field.

He has worked with organisations like Bharat Forge, Patheja Forging, Kalyani Forge etc in Design, Die Shop, and Forge Shop. He has successfully implemented projects of yield Improvement, Methods Improvements, Scrap Reduction and is expert in Trouble Shooting on Shop Floor.
