IMTMA Training Centre

Finishing School In Production Engineering

Date : 23 September to 22 October, 2019

@ 12/5, D1 Block, MIDC Chinchwad, Pune

Last date for registration 22 September 2019

Introduction

Today CNC Machines form the core of manufacturing operations right from producing
auto parts to mission critical aero space components and CNC machines are deployed
aiming at increased productivity, highest accuracy and improved surface finish.
However, increased use of CNC machines / CNC automation doesn't result in
enhanced productivity directly. Systematic training in best manufacturing
practices is of paramount importance and well trained manpower can bring in
significant improvement in productivity and quality levels thereby increasing
profitability.

Focus Areas

• Review of machining operations, engineering drawing and metrology
• Limit, Fits, Tolerances and surface roughness symbols
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• CNC Programming and CAD/CAM
• Programming & Operation of CNC Turning centre
• Programming & Operation of CNC Machining centre
• Process Planning for CNC Machined Parts
• Selection of Tooling and cutting parameters for CNC machining operations
• Optimisation of CNC Programming and parameters for cycle time reduction and productivity improvement
